JITI Jurunali y’Itorero, Tewolojiya n’Iterambere

The primary purpose of JITI is to be a network of research and study on the role of the Church and theology in societal development, carried out in Kinyarwanda.

Background

Through FLI workshops, church leaders and Christians revealed a critical gap: they lacked knowledge about the relationship between faith and social and economic development, while the majority of Rwandan Christians continue to live in poverty.

Research by Pastor Dr. Joel Kubwimana on using Kinyarwanda in theological education revealed that higher education advancement requires research, writing, and conference preparation in Kinyarwanda.

Thus, FLI launched JITI - Jurunali y’Itorero, Tewolojiya n’Iterambere to bridge faith and development, empower church leaders with theological understanding, and drive practical action toward improving quality of life and transforming communities.
